These are big - measuring 16 inches. The foam material is like that of the foam padding on the rims of bicycle handles - somewhat sturdy, but can easily break with overbending. These are definitely great for single party use or club locations. Although it is a bit flimsy, it does not lack in color vibrancy or intensity. What I appreciate most is each battery compartment is protected with a battery stopper. Hence, you need to remove this piece of plastic to allow the battery to touch the mechanism to let the wand light up. This will greatly extend battery life prior use. These are a great hit!!!
